La Relève
Bar La relève

The rooms of the bar & restaurant La Relève are finally opening their doors in the coolest district of Marseille in Endoume (7th). These four 50’s-inspired guest rooms have been meticulously designed by the essential Honoré house. They are located above the famous Relève, at 41, rue d’Endoume. True to their reputation, “the two Gregs” (Grégoire and Jérôme, look for the error) are once again shaking up the codes of this working-class district in full mutation (those who talk about gentrification have definitely understood nothing in Marseille)!

Yellow room

Green room

A stone’s throw from the Old Port and Notre-Dame de la Garde), La Relève is much more than a local bar: it is an institution whose history is told like a popular tale. Four chairs outside, taxi drivers, thugs mixed with the bourgeois of the 8th, the next generation has always been (since 1944 and the Agosta family) the obligatory crossroads of the village of Endoume. A place apart where we like to meet to discuss. Nearly 80 years later the charm is still operating except that it attracts a larger and larger crowd each year. Some have even seen foreigners or even Parisians there lately.
